HAND DRAWN mounted Eastern tiger swallow butterflies

Toned paper and coloured pencil, this front and back view of Eastern tiger swallow butterflies are then cut from card, mounted and framed to look like the real thing.

Reused vintage frame & fabric- due to the lives lived by the frame previously, there will be some signs of natural wear and tear as seen in the photo.

Paper entomology, bringing nature indoors in a sustainable and cruelty free way.

THINKING ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT
Always consciously trying to reduce waste as much as possible, I try to reuse and recycle when creating and sending all my artworks.
I like to find and use vintage frames and materials in my work making each piece unique.
The packaging that my items are sent in is reused from previous purchases or collected from neighbours and everything is recyclable again and again.
